Russian drones hit critical oil and gas infrastructure in Ukraine's Poltava overnight, fire reported

On the night of February 20, Russian troops attacked oil and gas infrastructure in Ukraine's Poltava region with strike drones. As a result of the attack, fire broke out, and there is damage, Naftogaz press service reports.

According to Naftogaz, Ukraine's state oil and gas company, one of the infrastructure facilities came under enemy strike. Fire is ongoing at the site. State Emergency Service of Ukraine units and emergency services are working.
Head of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Sergii Koretskyi, emphasized that this is another targeted strike on energy infrastructure.
According to him, specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and company crews are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack under conditions of increased danger and risk of repeated strikes.
On the night of February 8, Russian troops struck Naftogaz group facilities in the Poltava region with drones. There were hits, equipment was destroyed.
