Russian drone attack on Odesa injures children, leaves high-rises and hotel damaged

On the night of April 27, Odesa experienced another massive Russian drone attack. Multi-story buildings, a hotel, and other infrastructure were damaged in the city, and there are casualties, according to a Telegram post by Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.

"The night was extremely difficult. The enemy launched a massive attack on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in Odesa. Ten people sought medical assistance, including two children," the post said.
Lysak reported that the most damage was recorded in the Prymorskyi district. There, as a result of the enemy attack, residential buildings, a hotel, and facilities in the city center were damaged. Additionally, it was in this district that most of the injured, including children, sustained their injuries.
The Khadzhybeiskyi and Kyivskyi districts also came under Russian strikes. There, the Russian forces hit residential multi-story buildings, private housing, and vehicles.

"More than 250 emergency service workers and municipal employees worked at the sites all night. All necessary medical assistance is being provided to the injured, and residents of damaged buildings are receiving help and consultations regarding compensation," the head of the City Military Administration summed up.
Other Russian attacks on the Odesa region
Last night, Russian forces also attempted to attack the region. As a result of the drone attack, the enemy damaged the port and logistics infrastructure facilities, a cargo storage tank, administrative buildings, and cargo transport.
In addition, the Russian army damaged a civilian vessel flying the flag of Palau that was in the port during loading.
Two days earlier, on the night of February 24, the enemy again launched a massive attack on the city, resulting in damaged buildings, apartment fires, and other consequences.
