Russian attack on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Number of injured rises to 20, including 4 children

The number of people injured in the overnight strike by Russian forces on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 20, including four children, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"The number of people injured in the overnight attack on Zaporizhzhia has increased to 20. People continue to seek medical assistance," the statement reads.
Fedorov specified that four children are among the injured.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 16
During the night of September 16, Russia carried out strikes on Zaporizhzhia. The shelling was conducted using a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system, with 10 projectiles fired at the city and the region.
Fires broke out in the city: the flames engulfed three residential buildings, two trucks in a parking lot, and a service station.
Later, reports emerged of casualties and injuries. As a result of the overnight attack on September 16, one person was killed and at least 18 others were injured, including two children aged 4 and 17. People continue to seek medical assistance.
According to updated information from the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, two districts of the city — Komunarskyi and Shevchenkivskyi — were damaged. The destruction affected 10 apartment buildings and 12 private houses.
