The number of people injured due to the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on the night of September 16 has risen to eighteen. Residents continue to seek medical assistance, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reports.

“There are already 18 wounded - the number of victims of last night’s enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia is increasing,” the statement says.

According to Fedorov, residents of the regional center continue to turn to doctors with shrapnel wounds, concussions, and acute stress reactions.

Most of the injured, after receiving medical assistance, will continue treatment at home.

Attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 16

On the night of September 16, Russia struck Zaporizhzhia. The shelling was carried out using a Tornado-S MLRS, with 10 munitions fired at the city and the region.

Initially, the reports indicated that one person was killed, a 41-year-old man, and 13 were injured, including two children aged 4 and 17.

Due to the strike, two houses in the private sector caught fire, and a gas pipe in one of the multi-story buildings was damaged.
