Russian forces attacked medics in Kherson on January 1 — an emergency ambulance crew in one of the city's districts. One person was injured as a result of the Russian attack, the Kherson City Military Administration reported.
It is noted that on January 1, at around 22:00, Russian forces attacked an emergency ambulance crew that had arrived to assist wounded people after a previous Russian attack in the Dniprovskyi district.
"As a result of the enemy dropping explosives from a drone, the ambulance vehicle was damaged, and the driver was injured. A 70-year-old man sustained blast and closed craniocerebral injuries, as well as a concussion. He was taken to the hospital in moderate condition," the administration said.
Before this attack, the Russians carried out another one, dropping explosives from a drone on two people. The incident occurred in the Dniprovskyi district, and the injured were hospitalized in moderate condition.
Earlier on January 1, the Russians also attacked Kherson with drones. The same Dniprovskyi district came under attack. As a result of the attack, a 31-year-old man was killed.
On December 28, nine people were injured during a morning attack on the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. One more person was wounded during an artillery strike on the regional center. The attacks also damaged private residences and apartment buildings.
In addition, at noon on Christmas Day, December 25, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on central Kherson. The city market was hit while people were there: one man was killed, and two others were injured.
