Russian assault on Kharkiv region in Ukraine leaves 12 wounded

Russian forces struck the city of Bohodukhiv in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. The attack left 12 people injured, some of whom were hospitalized with blast-related injuries, reports Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
Civilians injured in the attack included a 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, who were hospitalized. A 48-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman suffered acute stress reactions. Medics provided all necessary assistance to the survivors.
Later, the number of injured increased. A 36-year-old, 47-year-old, and 53-year-old man, as well as a 33-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital with blast injuries.
Still later, a 48-year-old woman was also hospitalized. Medical assistance on site was provided to a 28-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man.
All of the injured are reported to be in moderate condition.
The attack also damaged 15 vehicles and shattered the windows of an apartment building. Emergency services are working at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the strike.
Earlier, on the night of May 24, Russia launched another combined attack on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and strike drones and targeting Kyiv city, as well as the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions.
The European Union called the strike evidence of the Kremlin's despair and announced new assistance to strengthen the air defenses of Ukraine.
