Russia strikes Ukrainian rescuers in Donetsk region: Consequences revealed

Russia struck Ukrainian rescuers again, namely, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, at night on June 5.
Russian troops opened fire on Ukrainian rescuers who were extinguishing a fire in Sloviansk caused by a previous Russian strike.
As a result of the Russian attack, the driver of the fire and rescue unit was wounded and promptly taken to the hospital. A fire truck was also seriously damaged.
"Russia's cynicism knows no bounds," the SESU noted.
Russian attack on rescuers
Russian troops continue to violate international law by targeting civilians and rescue services.
On the night of June 2, the Russian troops targeted a rescue unit in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. When the medics arrived, Russians struck again.
The Russian army also fired at Ukrainian rescuers who were eliminating the consequences of a previous Russian attack in Kherson.
On March 15 last year, Russian troops struck civilian infrastructure in Odesa with Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
After that, Russia struck Odesa again when medics and rescuers arrived at the scene. A large number of casualties were reported, including deaths.
