Over the past week, Russia has fired hundreds of bombs and dozens of missiles at Ukraine. The Russian invaders also attacked Ukraine with 400 drones, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This week alone, the Russians used about 900 guided aerial bombs, more than 40 missiles, and 400 attack drones of various types against Ukraine.

The head of state emphasizes that no nation should face such tests alone. Zelenskyy adds that partners have the opportunity to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.

“Our partners have the opportunity to provide the necessary quantity and quality of air defense systems, to make decisions to ensure our long-range capability, to ensure timely delivery of defense assistance to our soldiers. We must not lose time - we must give the necessary signal of determination,” the President says.

Russian night attack on Ukraine

Since September, the Russians have been attacking Ukraine every night with attack drones and various types of missiles, including ballistic missiles. This night was no exception.

On the night of October 13, the Russian occupiers launched 68 drones at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 31 Russian Shaheds, and another 36 Russian drones fell thanks to electronic warfare.

The wreckage of the downed Russian Shaheds fell in Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. As a result, residential buildings were damaged.

In addition, during a night attack, the Russian occupiers fired ballistic missiles at the Poltava and Odesa regions and launched Kh-59 missiles at the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
