Russian night attack on Ukraine: Residential buildings damaged in Kyiv and Cherkasy regions

Ukrainian air defense was operating in the region, and there were no hits to critical and residential infrastructure. However, 3 private houses were damaged in two districts as a result of falling debris.
In the Cherkasy region, the air alert also lasted almost 10 hours. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 12 Shaheds. In Zolotonosha district, several houses were damaged by falling debris. There were no casualties.
The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration also noted that a fire broke out in a warehouse with construction materials in Cherkasy. Experts are establishing the cause of the fire.

On the night of October 13, Russian troops launched 68 kamikaze drones at Ukraine. The Russian invaders also attacked the Poltava and Odesa regions with ballistic missiles and struck the Chernihiv and Sumy regions with Kh-59 guided missiles.
Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions. 31 Russian Shahed drones were destroyed, and another 36 drones were lost locally as a result of electronic warfare countermeasures.
