Russian troops attacked a critical infrastructure facility in the Vinnytsia region tonight, January 20. Rescue services are working at the site, according to Nataliia Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

"As a result of the nighttime Russian attack, a critical infrastructure facility was hit. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Zabolotna says.

According to her, all relevant services are working at the scene.

According to monitoring groups, this is the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion that the Russians have attacked the Vinnytsia region with ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Russian night strike on Ukraine on January 20

On the night of January 20, Russia once again struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. Loud explosions were heard in various parts of the capital, and power and water supply interruptions were reported.

After the Russian attack, the city had to adjust the schedules of some metro lines. This was due to the consequences of the Russian strikes and complications with the power supply, which affected the operation of trains.

As of the morning after the nighttime Russian combined strike, 5,635 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heating, and the entire left bank of Kyiv is without water. There is also one known casualty in the Dniprovskyi district, who was hospitalized in one of the city's hospitals.

Russian troops attacked the Kyiv region tonight, January 20. As a result of the Russian strike, a 50-year-old man was killed, and gas stations were damaged.
