Drone attacks on Russia

On the night of January 10, drones attacked the Volgograd region of Russia, causing a fire at an oil depot. According to preliminary information, the evacuation of residents of houses located near the facility cannot be ruled out.

This attack was part of a series of strikes on Russian territory during one night. In particular, a missile and drone threat was announced in the Krasnodar region, and residents reported explosions. According to preliminary data, the target could have been an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.

At the same time, the Volgograd region is regularly hit by drones. At the end of December, drones struck the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery, causing a large-scale fire.

Russian oil exports decline sharply against the backdrop of Ukraine's systematic attacks on key elements of Russia's oil infrastructure, including refineries, pipelines, ports, and tankers.
