Situation on the front

Russian forces have intensified assault attacks in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction. Measures are being taken there to prevent a deterioration of the tactical situation, which became known on January 13.

The situation near Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, Myrnohrad, and Kupiansk is difficult. However, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling Russian troops despite severe cold and other obstacles.

As for the Russian Armed Forces' plans for January, the enemy seeks to bypass Vovchansk, eliminate the Ukrainian bridgehead east of Kupiansk, advance toward Lyman, and conduct infiltration operations there.
