Today, July 8, during a morning bombardment of Ukraine, Russian terrorists launched over 40 missiles of various types, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to Zelenskyy, the terrorists carried out massive attacks on:

  • Kyiv
  • Dnipro
  • Kryvyi Rih
  • Sloviansk
  • Kramatorsk

Overall, the Russians used more than 40 missiles of different types. As a result of the bombardment, residential buildings, infrastructure, and a children's hospital were damaged. All services are involved.

"The whole world must muster all its determination to finally put an end to Russian strikes. Killings are what Putin (Vladimir Putin, the dictator of Russia, - ed.) brings. Only together can we bring true peace and security," he added.

Massive bombardment of Ukraine on July 8

On the morning of July 8, Russian terrorists fired four Kh-101 missiles and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense subsequently intercepted three Kh-101 missiles.

By 9:50 AM, a second major air raid alarm of the day was sounded. The Air Force reported a ballistic missile threat and later warned of missile movements. Initially, explosions were reported in the Kropyvnytskyi region and Kryvyi Rih. Specifically, air defense systems were reported to be operational in the Kyiv region and Kyiv.

As of 11:24 AM, reports from Kyiv indicate debris falling in several districts, resulting in extensive damage. Ochmatdyt Children's Hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi district was affected, with fatalities and injuries reported.
