Russia launched 198 attack drones against Ukraine from multiple directions during the night of June 3. Ukrainian air defenses managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, but some impacts were recorded, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Last night, Russia attacked with 198 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as Parodiya decoy drones, launched from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

"The attack is ongoing, and enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Massive attack on Ukraine
During the night of June 2, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine using ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as attack drones.
In total, Russian forces launched about 70 missiles and nearly 700 drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy a significant portion of the aerial targets, but impacts from dozens of ballistic missiles were recorded.
As a result of the ballistic missile attack, part of Kyiv remained without electricity. Public transport routes in the capital were also temporarily changed due to damage to the contact network.
Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure facilities were attacked. Seven people were killed in Kyiv, and nearly 90 others were injured.
Also in the morning, the Russian army attacked one of Naftogaz's key facilities in the Kharkiv region. The enemy first used drones and then launched a missile strike.
