Russian forces launched 48 missiles and 470 drones of various types at Ukraine during the night and morning of November 19. Nine civilians were killed, dozens were injured, and there is destruction and damage, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.
Zelenskyy noted that in many regions, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack, which resulted in deaths and injuries. In particular, in Ternopil, Russian forces struck residential nine-story buildings, where fires broke out.
"Unfortunately, there is significant destruction of buildings, and people may be trapped under the rubble. All necessary services are working on site, doing everything they can to save every life. As of now, dozens of people are known to be injured, and, unfortunately, nine people have been killed. My condolences to the families," the president wrote.
Zelenskyy added that Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv, where dozens of people were injured. Ivano-Frankivsk region was also hit, with three people injured, and Lviv region — in both cases, Russian missiles and drones attempted to strike energy facilities. Other areas were also attacked.
"Every brazen attack against ordinary life shows that the pressure on Russia is insufficient. Effective sanctions and assistance to Ukraine can change this. The primary needs are air-defense missiles, additional systems, increased capabilities for our combat aviation, and the production of drones to protect lives. Russia must be held accountable for what it has done, and we must remain focused on everything that strengthens us and allows us to shoot down Russian missiles, neutralize Russian drones, and stop assaults," the president of Ukraine summarized.

During the combined missile attack on Ukraine on the night of November 19, Russian forces attacked Ternopil. Several multi-story buildings were damaged and partially destroyed, and rescue operations are ongoing.
Russian forces also attacked energy infrastructure in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, with injuries reported as a result of the strikes. Damage to an energy facility and a fire were also recorded in the Lviv region, where explosions were heard during the night.
In Kharkiv, following the overnight Russian attack on November 19, 46 people had already been injured by the morning. Sixteen multi-story buildings, a school, an ambulance station, and other facilities were damaged, and a supermarket was destroyed.
