Russia kills one in drone strike on Ukraine's Kharkiv kindergarten

Russia struck a kindergarten in the city of Kharkiv with a drone. One fatality has been confirmed, according to Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to Terekhov, one person was killed as a result of a Russian strike on a kindergarten. 5 more were wounded.
At the same time, Syniehubov clarified that a 40-year-old man was killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
"At this time, a total of 5 victims are known. Doctors are providing them with all the necessary assistance," he said.

This morning, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of drone strikes moving in the direction of Kharkiv. Later, it became known that Kharkiv was under a massive drone attack.
"Russia struck the Kholodnohirskyi district. Preliminary information indicates that it was a Shahed drone. There is a fire at the site of the strike. Information is being verified," Terekhov said.
Later, Terekhov reported that Russia had struck a private kindergarten with a drone. Children are among the wounded and have been urgently evacuated.

Last night, Russia again launched a large-scale strike on Ukraine, firing missiles and drones. Several districts of Kyiv were also attacked.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a Russian strike caused a fire in a 16-story residential building. Rescuers evacuated 10 people, including children. During the clearing of the rubble, the bodies of 2 victims were found. In the Darnytskyi district, a Russian drone hit a 17-story building, and the flames engulfed several floors at once — from the 11th to the 16th. 15 residents were evacuated from the building.
Russian strike also affected the Kyiv region: 4 people were killed in the Brovary district, 2 of them children. 2 more were injured. Rescuers continue to work at the site, clearing the rubble.
After the Russian attack, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, appealed to international partners with an urgent call to strengthen support for Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Russian talk of diplomacy is worthless until the Russian leadership feels the real consequences of its actions.
