A fire broke out in a warehouse in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region after a Russian attack, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Initially, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a fire had broken out in a warehouse in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.

Details regarding the scale of the fire and possible casualties are currently being clarified.

According to eyewitnesses online, a large column of smoke is visible above the site of the fire.

Before this, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of a Russian drone attack. The warning referred to jet-powered drones moving toward Kyiv.

According to updated information from the Kyiv City Military Administration, the fire occurred in the village of Pohreby near Kyiv.

The day before, experts explained the difficulty for Ukrainian air defenses to shoot down jet-powered Shahed drones.

The speed of such drones exceeds 400–450 kilometers per hour, so most interceptor drones simply cannot keep up with them.

Russia also struck other regions of Ukraine last night and this morning. Russia carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region using a FAB-500 bomb, destroying the entrance to a high-rise building and damaging dozens of other structures. There are casualties.

Russia also attacked a terminal belonging to the logistics company Nova Poshta in the Odesa region. A fire broke out there following the Russian strike.
