Russia destroys entire street in Ukraine's Sumy region with over 10 drones

On the night of August 25, Russian troops shelled Pishchane in the Sumy region. 5 people were injured, according to Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy.
"This is what the attack on the Pishchansky district looks like—the street is almost destroyed. Unfortunately, five people were injured," Kobzar says.
As a result of the Russian attack, 5 residents were injured to varying degrees.
Residents report over 10 Russian drone strikes.
Emergency services are working at the scene: medics are assisting the victims, rescuers are clearing debris, and checking the area for hazards.
Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident and are gathering evidence to classify Russia's actions in accordance with current legislation. The victims are being provided with the necessary support and counseling.
Russia constantly attacking Sumy and region
On Sunday evening, August 24, the Russians launched a massive drone attack on Sumy. At least 10 strikes were recorded in the city.
Power outages occurred in the Sumy region after another Russian attack. Parts of the Bilopillia and Vorozhba communities were also left without power.
On the night of August 18, Russian troops struck the Sumy region, hitting residential areas and civilian infrastructure. In the Shostka community, the residential sector was affected: houses and farm buildings were damaged, and large-scale fires broke out, which were extinguished; there were no casualties.
Russia also struck Sumy State University, destroying one of its buildings. In addition, hits on other civilian objects in the region were recorded.
On August 15, a Russian suicide drone struck a market in the center of Sumy, and on August 10, a strike on the Sumy Regional Military Administration building was recorded.
