Russian authorities claimed that their forces allegedly did not attack Sumy and Dnipro today, August 15. They accused Ukraine of a provocation, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry of the aggressor state wrote that Ukraine allegedly fabricated the strikes in order to "create a negative media background aimed at disrupting the upcoming Russian-American talks in Anchorage."

"The Russian Armed Forces did not carry out any strikes on the city of Sumy or other cities," the Russian Ministry of Defense cynically stated.

Brutal strikes by Russian forces

On August 15, Russian forces struck a suburb of Dnipro in Ukraine with ballistic missiles during the day, damaging a minibus.

At present, it is known that one person was killed and another injured as a result of the attack.

Shortly after the strike on Dnipro, Russian forces attacked Sumy. This time, an enemy drone struck the central market.

According to the latest information, there were no deaths or injuries as a result of the attack.

Against this backdrop, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Russian forces are killing even on the day of negotiations between Putin and Trump. At the same time, there are no signs that Russia is ready to end the war.
