Russian forces attacked Sumy today, August 15. The strike hit civilian infrastructure in the city center, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, and Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy.

"The enemy struck the central part of the Sumy community — targeting civilian infrastructure," Hryhorov wrote.

He clarified that a fire broke out after the strike. All emergency services are working at the scene.

Online reports suggest that the central market was the target of the enemy attack. According to unconfirmed information, the enemy used a drone for the strike.

Acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar stated that the Russian forces carried out the attack using a drone. Preliminary information indicates that there are no injuries or fatalities.

Russian army also carried out a missile strike on the outskirts of Dnipro today, August 15.

According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, as of now, one person has been killed and one injured.

The Russian strike damaged a cargo truck and a bus.

Preliminary information indicates that the Russian forces attacked Dnipro with ballistic missiles.

These strikes occurred just a few hours before the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
