He reported that gas storage facilities and production capacities are under attack. According to Koretskyi, the Russian forces used 60 strike drones, causing significant damage.

"As soon as the security situation allows, our specialists, together with State Emergency Service units, will assess the consequences and begin their elimination," he emphasized.

Attacks on the oil and gas system

Recently, Russia has been systematically targeting Naftogaz facilities across Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year alone, there have already been around twenty enemy attacks on the company’s enterprises.

In particular, on February 24, Russian forces again attacked Naftogaz’s gas production infrastructure, targeting a facility in the Kharkiv region.

Earlier, on the night of February 20, Russian drones struck oil and gas infrastructure in the Poltava region, causing fires and damage.

Additionally, on the night of February 8, drones hit facilities in Poltava. Direct hits and falling debris led to fires at the enterprises, and some equipment was completely destroyed.

The following day, February 9, the Russian forces attacked Naftogaz production capacities in other regions. In both cases, there were no casualties, and the fires were quickly extinguished.

Previously, on January 27, a critical infrastructure facility in the Lviv region was struck by Russian forces, also resulting in a large-scale fire.
