Russia admits brutal strikes on Ukraine, blames Kyiv for 'terror attacks'

The Russian Defense Ministry cynically acknowledged the strikes on Ukraine and Kyiv on the night of October 22, as well as the ongoing air terror with missiles and drones that continued for several hours in the morning, according to a statement from the ministry's press service.
"The targets of the strike have been achieved, all designated objects have been hit," the Defense Ministry of the aggressor reported.
At the same time, Russia claimed that the massive strike targeted only the energy infrastructure, which, according to them, "ensures the operation of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex."
Russia justified the brutal strikes by blaming Ukraine
The Defense Ministry of the aggressor also defended the savage attacks on Ukraine, which resulted in the deaths of peaceful civilians and injuries to many people, including children.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry's press service, the massive attack was carried out in response to alleged "terror attacks by Ukraine" on civilian targets within Russia's territory.
"Tonight, Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike with long-range precision weapons of ground and air deployment, including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles, against energy infrastructure facilities that ensure the operation of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex," the ministry's statement said.
