Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated in his post on X that Russia’s influence in the world is rapidly declining following the loss of support for key partners, including former Syrian President Bashar al‑Assad, former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

He emphasized that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has proven to be an unreliable ally, unable to assist his closest partners.
Loss of allies and decline of Russian influence
Sybiha noted that in just over a year, the Russian dictator lost three key supporters – Assad, Maduro, and Khamenei – while Moscow failed to provide effective assistance to any of them at critical moments. According to the minister, this trend demonstrates three important facts.
First, Russia is not a reliable ally even for regimes that are fully dependent on it. Second, while Russia is bogged down in a "senseless war" against Ukraine, which it will never win, its global influence is dramatically shrinking.
Inevitability of Putin's fall
The minister stressed that the process of toppling dictators is a "domino effect" that will eventually lead to the collapse of Putin himself.
"Putin's fall is inevitable. Together we must do everything possible to bring this joyful day closer and ensure accountability for all Russian crimes. Justice is unavoidable," Sybiha said.
Strikes on Iran
On February 28, the armed forces of the United States and Israel carried out a preventive military operation against Iran. According to US President Donald Trump, the campaign's goal is to completely eliminate threats from the current Iranian regime. A state of emergency is currently in effect across Israel.
In response to the attack, Tehran launched missiles at Israeli territory and struck American military bases in Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
According to the latest reports, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been killed. Reports also indicate the deaths of four members of his family and several high-ranking officials as a result of the airstrikes.
