Trump's warning
The American leader noted that Iran has publicly declared its intention to deliver a "very strong strike" as early as today.
According to Trump, Tehran plans an attack that would surpass all previous actions by the Iranian regime.
"They better not do that. However, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before! Thank you for your attention to this matter!" the US president wrote.
Situation in the Middle East
The situation in the Middle East sharply escalated after Israel carried out preemptive strikes on Iranian military targets. In response, Iran launched a series of missile attacks targeting Israel and the UAE, prompting a state of emergency in the region and causing civilian casualties in Abu Dhabi due to falling debris.
According to official IDF data, nearly 200 Israeli aircraft were deployed, striking about 500 targets simultaneously across the country and paralyzing enemy defense infrastructure.
The consequences of this strike could be fatal for the top leadership of the Iranian regime. In addition to reports of the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, key figures in the security apparatus — Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Mohammad Pakpour — were reportedly targeted.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported on how events in Iran could affect the situation in Ukraine and the negotiation track with Russia.
