Russia does not intend to negotiate on Ukraine's terms, despite the intense and increasingly frequent strikes by Ukrainian forces on strategic targets deep inside Russian territory, states Vladimir Putin in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin.

Commenting on rumours about Ukraine's alleged proposals to limit the zone of active hostilities to just four occupied regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson), the Russian leader categorically rejected such a scenario.

He stated that such a move would be solely a salvation for the Ukrainian army under conditions he called a shortage of personnel.

According to the speaker, a ceasefire or any adjustment of the front line in Ukraine's favour would allow the Armed Forces to redeploy units from other directions and strengthen their defense.

In just the past week, Ukrainian drones have carried out a series of accurate strikes on key Russian infrastructure facilities, including the night operation on June 28, when, in addition to hitting a railway bridge in Crimea, the Defense Forces successfully attacked two large oil refineries on Russian territory.

The drones covered distances of up to 700 km, striking facilities in the Krasnodar Krai and the Yaroslavl region, including the Sloviansk refinery, which supplied fuel to the occupation forces on the peninsula, as confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Concurrently, on June 25, the Defense Forces struck an oil depot in Kuban, and also carried out long-range operations in Ufa, attacking two plants at a record distance of 1,500 kilometers from the front line.

Earlier, it was also reported that operations had completely stopped at one of the country's largest oil refining enterprises – the NORSI plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region – following a successful Ukrainian drone attack.
