Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered that the impact of Ukrainian strikes on Russian targets be minimized, hemade the statement during a meeting with members of the Russian government, according to TASS.

The Kremlin leader said that Ukraine, where the situation on the front is allegedly "rapidly worsening" and which is "losing territory one after another," has begun striking civilian targets and infrastructure in Russia.

According to Putin, Kyiv is allegedly trying to create problems with energy supplies and influence the tourist season in this way.

"I ask, of course, first of all, that the task of countering these threats lies with the Ministry of Defense and other security agencies. At the same time, the Russian government must also take the necessary additional measures to minimize, to reduce to zero, the consequences of such actions," the President said.

Over the weekend, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of powerful strikes on Russian military targets in occupied Crimea. The targets included gas distribution stations, oil terminals, air defense systems, and the enemy’s logistics infrastructure.

In addition, regular strikes on Russia’s fuel and energy sector are increasingly affecting the Russian economy. They are leading to the loss of significant fuel reserves, disruption of contractual obligations, and numerous lawsuits over the destruction of gasoline and diesel fuel.

Meanwhile, the General Staff reported that drone strikes completely halted operations at the Moscow oil refinery. According to the military, the facility stopped oil processing due to extensive damage to four large storage tanks and key technological installations.
