Putin divides up Ukrainian land among militants as Kremlin’s colonial policy exposed

Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised militants two hectares of Ukrainian land for participating in the war, highlighting the colonial nature of the Kremlin’s aggression, according to the National Resistance Center (NRC).
The NRC reports that the occupiers plan to transfer ownership of territories seized by the Russian army and effectively taken away from Ukrainians to the militants. The center emphasizes that such an initiative by the Kremlin once again underscores the colonial character of the war waged by Putin’s regime.
“The Russian war is purely colonial, and Putin’s promise to hand out two hectares of our land to militants is direct confirmation of this,” the statement reads.
The NRC also reminded that Russian propaganda previously spread false claims about Kyiv supposedly planning to distribute Donbas land to Ukrainian soldiers. Now, it is the Kremlin itself that is officially announcing plans to divide Ukrainian land as trophies for participants in the aggression.
Putin’s exposed intentions once again confirm that Russia’s war against Ukraine has not only a military dimension but also an overtly colonial one, aimed at seizing territories and subsequently using them to reward mercenaries and militants.
The enemy is actively attempting to infiltrate Kupiansk with reconnaissance and sabotage groups of 2–5 people. To do this, the occupiers disguise themselves as civilians or use the terrain to avoid detection.
In addition, the Russian forces have received orders from their commanders to shoot civilians, including men, as confirmed by captured Russian soldiers.
Meanwhile, during an operation on the Dobropillia front, Ukrainian defenders were able to liberate seven settlements from the Russian army.
