Polish embassy in Kyiv damaged in Russian missile strike

Poland has sent a note of protest to Russia over a missile strike on Kyiv that damaged the building of the Polish embassy, according to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed a note to the Russian embassy, strongly protesting against airstrikes targeting Ukraine's civilian population. It was revealed that, as a result of these attacks, the Polish embassy building in Kyiv was damaged.
The ministry emphasized that such strikes violate international law, specifically the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
Attack on Kyiv
During the night of July 4, Kyiv once again became the target of a large-scale Russian aerial assault. The capital was attacked with missiles and drones. Following the overnight air raid alert, fires, debris, destruction, and casualties were reported across several districts of the city.
From night until morning, smoke engulfed Kyiv, and residents were urged to keep their windows closed for safety. Rescue workers, medics, police, and utility crews have continued to respond to the aftermath of the strikes.
