Ukraine continues to ramp up weapons production. The state centrally purchases 76% of weapons for the front from Ukrainian manufacturers, Ukraine's Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal reports.
"More Ukrainian-made weapons at the front. Seventy-six percent of everything the state centrally procures is purchased from Ukrainian arms manufacturers," said Ukraine's Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, almost every drone at the front is Ukrainian-made.
"In 2025, a record number of FPV drones were delivered to the military, and mass supplies of ground robots and interceptor drones began," the minister added.
Weapons production in Ukraine
Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko recently reported that more than half of the weapons currently in the Defense Forces were produced by Ukrainian companies.
Earlier, the deputy chief of staff of the Rocket Forces and Artillery Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Colonel Andrii Zhuravlov, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine that Ukrainian troops will soon receive new samples of weapons and equipment, including modern drones and artillery.
Among the promising systems for the Rocket Forces and Artillery, he named the 155-mm towed howitzer Marta with a 39-caliber barrel, as well as a 105-mm towed gun — both systems are currently undergoing testing.
At the same time, the development of missile weapons continues: the Sapsan operational-tactical missile system, the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system, and the Neptune missile complex with the so-called long-range missile are being improved and are currently undergoing testing.
Back in July, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that Ukrainian weapons production had increased 35-fold since the start of the full-scale war. Ukraine plans to further expand this figure.
