Over 20 injured in massive Russian strike on Kyiv

In Kyiv, the number of casualties of the massive Russian attack exceeded 20 people. 2 people were killed, according to the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
Currently, there is confirmed information about 21 people injured in the capital as a result of the attack on the night of October 22.
"We currently confirm 21 victims, including 5 children. 2 Kyiv residents were killed," the statement says.
Massive Russian attack
Last night and this morning, Russia launched another missile and drone strike on Ukraine. Russia attacked several districts in Kyiv.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a fire broke out in a 16-story building after it was hit. 10 people, including children, were evacuated, and the bodies of two victims were found under the rubble.
In the Darnytskyi district, a Russian drone hit a 17-story building, setting floors 11 through 16 on fire. 15 residents were evacuated.
A 2-story non-residential building also caught fire, but it was quickly extinguished. In the Desnianskyi district, the facade of a 10-story building was damaged, a car and a gas pipe burned down, and 20 people were rescued.
In the Pecherskyi district, the upper floors of a 25-story building caught fire, but the fire was extinguished before the arrival of rescuers.
In the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, 4 people were killed as a result of the Russian strike, 2 of them children, and 2 more people in the region were injured. Rescuers are currently conducting search operations and clearing the rubble.
After the Russian strikes, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha urgently addressed partners with an important statement, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Russian words about diplomacy mean nothing until Russian leaders feel critical problems.
