NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte explains what Ukraine is likely to achieve next month at the NATO summit, according to The Guardian.

The NATO Secretary General says some positive statements have already been made at the G7 summit in France.

Rutte says that NATO will focus first and foremost on "focus particularly, of course, on what Ukraine needs to maintain the fight". In particular, he emphasizes the supply of military equipment, including American interceptors for the Patriot system.

"I’m pretty confident that collectively we’ll make sure you have what you need as far as Europeans and Americans can help to defend yourself," Rutte says.

He also states that the main focus will be on "making sure the money is there."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that US President Donald Trump responded favorably to Kyiv’s request for additional missiles for the Patriot system. At the same time, Washington has not yet announced a final decision on this matter.

Lockheed Martin has warned its customers about difficulties in supplying PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot systems. These munitions remain critically important for strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.

Earlier, Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat highlighted the shortage of missiles for the Patriot, NASAMS, and IRIS-T systems. According to him, ammunition stocks in some units have approached critical levels.

At the same time, Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv had already reached political agreements on the procurement of additional Patriot systems. However, the implementation of these agreements is being delayed due to the need to resolve financial, legal, and technical issues.
