Zelenskyy holds new type of meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief for first time
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held the first technological meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on December 13. The key topic was the protection of the skies from Russian missiles and drones.
The necessary commanders and representatives from the army, intelligence, and security forces are also present at the meeting.
Zelensky noted that participants in the Technological Headquarters meeting discussed the key task of air defense. This issue involves countering Russian Shaheds and missiles.
Russia massively strikes Ukrainian energy sector again: Consequences
On the morning of December 13, Russia launched one of the largest combined strikes against Ukraine's energy sector, using cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones.
As a result of the shelling, there were hits in the western regions, and blackouts were extended throughout Ukraine.
According to the Air Force, terrorists used 94 missiles and 193 drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy 81 missiles and 80 drones in total.

During the night, a massive fire broke out in Novosibirsk, destroying one of Russia’s key strategic facilities, according to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), Andrii Kovalenko.
The facility belonged to a Russian company supporting several critical sectors, including energy infrastructure and the production of explosion-proof equipment.
