Today's large-scale shelling by Russia was allegedly a response to the use of ATACMS missiles against the military airfield in the city of Taganrog, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the terrorist country, on December 11, Ukraine launched a strike with six ATACMS missiles on a military airfield near the city of Taganrog.
In addition, the Russian state department fantasized about "hitting" all planned targets during the shelling of Ukraine.
Russian massive attack
On the morning of December 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with 94 missiles and 193 UAVs. Anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. F-16 fighters also worked to eliminate enemy air targets.
As of 11:30 a.m. Kyiv time, it was confirmed that the following were shot down:
- 80 Kh-101/Kh-55SM/Kalibr/Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile;
- 80 Shahed drones and UAVs of unknown type.
Furthermore, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called on the West to urgently provide 20 air defense systems.
