Ukraine urgently calls for 20 Western air defense systems after massive attack
This morning, Russia launched a massive attack, primarily targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure. That's why Ukraine urgently requires deliveries of air defense systems, Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, reports.
"Massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine this morning, primarily targeting the energy system. Russia aims to deprive us of energy. Instead, we must deprive it of the means of terror," Sybiha said.
The Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs also called on the West to urgently deliver 20 air defense systems, including NASAMS, HAWK, or IRIS-T.
Massive shelling on December 13
This morning, the enemy carried out another massive shelling of Ukraine. After an attack with Shahed drones, the Russians also launched missiles. As a result, explosions were heard in Odesa. Some of the enemy missiles were also moving toward the West of Ukraine.
Later, Minister of Energy German Galushchenko stated that the target of the morning Russian attack was the energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, half of the residents were left without power in the Ternopil region due to the shelling.
