During the night, a massive fire broke out in Novosibirsk, resulting in the destruction of one of Russia’s key strategic facilities, according to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), Andrii Kovalenko.
He stated that a Russian military storage facility was destroyed in the fire.
Kovalenko explained that the facility belonged to a Russian company that was supporting several critical sectors, including energy infrastructure and the production of explosion-proof equipment.
Strikes on Russian military facilities
Ukraine is increasingly targeting military facilities within Russian territory, which has become a significant part of its strategy to deter Russian aggression and weaken its military resources.
High-precision weapons, such as ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in these strikes.
Recently, the US authorized Ukraine to use American missiles to target military facilities inside Russia. This decision marks a crucial development, expanding the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in defense and countering aggression.
Additionally, Ukrainian drones are proving highly effective in striking Russian logistical facilities.
For example, on the night of December 11, military facilities in Taganrog were targeted. The drones, capable of covering long distances, underscore the advanced state of Ukraine’s defense industry.
Such operations undermine Russia’s combat potential and demonstrate Ukraine’s determination to defend its territory.
Western partners continue to support Ukraine, recognizing its right to self-defense and the use of modern weaponry to counter aggression.
