Zelenskyy holds new type of meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief for first time
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held the first technological meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief today, December 13. The key topic was the protection of the skies from Russian missiles and drones, according to the head of the state on Telegram.

The President explained that the technological meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief is a special format for implementing innovations that are essential for the country's defense. It involves scientists, arms manufacturers, and developers of technological solutions for the Defense Forces.
The necessary commanders and representatives from the army, intelligence, and security forces are also present at the meeting.
What was discussed
He noted that participants in the Technological Headquarters meeting discussed the key task — air defense. This issue involves countering Russian Shaheds and missiles.
"There has already been a lengthy and fairly detailed discussion on these matters, and we now have the first outlines of how we can further strengthen our defense," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, concrete solutions are expected to be presented at the next technological meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
Shahed interceptor drone
Just a few months ago, Western media reported that Ukraine is developing Sting drones capable of intercepting enemy "Shaheds."
Such a drone is expected to be equipped with an artificial intelligence system that will automatically lock onto the target.
Oleh Katkov, the editor-in-chief of Defense Express, explained in a comment to the YouTube channel RBC-Ukraine that these drones will allow for destroying enemy Shaheds in the most cost-effective way.
