London to host group of European leaders to discuss Ukraine - Bloomberg

The UK is negotiating the convening of a group of European leaders for further talks on Russia's war against Ukraine. The meeting will take place after a week of shuttle diplomacy between Paris, Washington, and Kyiv, Bloomberg reports.
The meeting may take place as early as March 2 and will continue the summits held last week in Paris by French President Emmanuel Macron, anonymous sources told the agency.
According to the sources, the possible meeting, organized by the UK, will allow the leaders to summarize their conversations with US President Donald Trump and his officials over the past week and develop a common position.
They warned that the plans have not been finalized and are still subject to change and that it could be held virtually as an alternative.
European leaders have been making intense diplomatic efforts to convince Trump not to rush into a ceasefire agreement with Russia, which the continent fears will embolden Moscow and weaken security in Europe.
Macron met with Trump at the White House at midnight in February, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to meet with the US president in Washington on February 27.
According to Bloomberg, Trump on February 24 appeared to rush to implement his plans to end the war without the involvement of European countries or Ukraine, saying on social media that he was in “serious talks” with Vladimir Putin.
These statements came after European leaders, as well as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, met in Kyiv to mark the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
