Russian forces launched a massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv overnight on July 31. Search and rescue operations continue in the city, and the death toll has risen to 31, reports the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"Search operations have been ongoing all night and are still underway. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, victims are still being recovered. Rescuers have retrieved three more bodies," noted Tkachenko.

According to him, as of now, 31 people have been confirmed dead as a result of the Russian attack on the night of July 31.

Nighttime strike on Kyiv, July 31

Russian forces launched a massive overnight strike on Ukraine on July 31. The Russians used 309 attack drones and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles. This time, Kyiv was the main target.

As a result of the enemy attack, dozens of damages were recorded across different districts of the city. The Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts were hit the hardest by the drone and missile strikes.

Debris fell on residential buildings, non-residential premises, and vehicles. Strikes also hit apartment blocks and a higher education institution. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, part of a multi-story residential building was destroyed.
