The number of killed and wounded in Kyiv has risen as a result of a combined Russian attack, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Klitschko says that three people have already been killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv.
"My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed by Russia…," he writes.
The Military Administration reports that the number of casualties from the Russian attack has risen to 19.
As a result of a Russian strike on Tuesday, September 8, a fire broke out in an office building in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. Medical personnel were called to two districts of Kyiv.
At least 14 high-rise buildings, as well as a school, a clinic, a supermarket, and a gas station, were damaged in Kyiv as a result of the Russian nighttime attack. The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal investigation into this war crime.
In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that during the nighttime strike, Russians deliberately sought to inflict as much damage as possible on the capital's civilians.
Later, Interior Minister Ivan Vyhovskyi reported that the number of casualties resulting from Russia's combined attack on Kyiv had risen to 16.
