On the morning of March 25, an Iranian ballistic missile fell near the coastal city of Hadera in northern Israel. The strike was aimed at the country’s largest power plant, according to the Times of Israel.

Sirens sounded across central Israel and parts of the north. According to media reports, the strike was likely aimed at Israel’s largest power plant – Orot Rabin in Hadera.

Details of the strike

The missile fell in an open area – there were no casualties. The Israel Electric Corporation confirmed that the infrastructure was not damaged.

Two middle-aged men were injured by shrapnel during a separate attack and received medical assistance.

Iran had previously published an infographic listing targets in Israel, including Orot Rabin and the country’s second-largest power plant, Rutenberg.

After the Iranian strikes, Hezbollah fired at northern Israel. Fragments of cluster munitions fell in the residential area of Kiryat Shmona.

Israel responds

The Israeli Air Force destroyed a single Iranian facility in Isfahan used for submarine development. Since the start of the war on February 28, more than 15,000 bombs have been dropped on Iran.

The Israeli government has authorized the call-up of up to 400,000 reservists – not a precise figure, but the maximum "flexibility ceiling" for the army.

The US handed Iran a peace plan. One of its central points is to transfer 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium in Iran to international control.

At the same time, the US ambassador revealed Trump’s strategy in the war with Iran: he wants to ensure he has options in the confrontation.
