"I express my deepest condolences to those injured as a result of the Russian missile strike on Mukachevo and wish them a speedy and full recovery," read the first version of the message from the President of Hungary.

However, about an hour later Sulyok edited the post: the word "Russian" disappeared, and the president added hope for the swift end of the "Russian-Ukrainian conflict."

"I believe that the warring sides will be able to reach understanding and, thanks to international diplomatic efforts, will soon put an end to this inhuman and senseless bloodshed," the post of the Hungarian president reads.

Mukachevo attack

On the night of August 21, the Russians carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, using more than 570 drones and 40 missiles of various types.

Mukachevo, located only 30 km from Hungary, was also hit. Among the affected facilities was the Flextronics plant of the American company Flex Ltd., one of the world's leaders in contract electronics manufacturing.

As a result of the attack on Mukachevo, the number of casualties increased. According to the latest information, 19 people were injured. After examination, 6 patients remain under inpatient treatment.

The Center for Countering Disinformation stated that these attacks have no military purpose, but are only an attempt to intimidate people and prolong the war.
