Harris makes statement about upcoming meeting with President Zelenskyy
US Vice President Kamala Harris commented on her upcoming meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It will take place next week, according to Harris's Twitter (X) page.
According to the official, she will meet with Zelenskyy for the seventh time.
"President Biden and I have been clear: Our commitment to the Ukrainian people as they fight for their freedom is unshakeable," she added.
What preceded it
Yesterday, September 19, the Office of the President announced that next week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the US. There, he will speak at the UN General Assembly.
Also, a meeting is scheduled for the Ukrainian leader with US President Joe Biden on Thursday. During the negotiations, Zelenskyy plans to present Ukraine's victory plan, which was finalized a few days ago.
According to the Office of the President, Zelenskyy intends to meet with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
During the meetings, the Ukrainian victory plan is likely to be discussed as well.
