Zelenskyy's Office outlines key points of Ukraine victory plan

Zelenskyy's Office outlines key points of Ukraine victory plan Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak (Vitalii Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)

Ukraine's victory plan is not a proposal, but a clear understanding of what modern warfare means. Among its common features are a military package and pathetic coercion for Russia, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of Ukraine's Presidential Office, told RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.

The outlines of Ukraine's victory plan include:

  • a military package that will be clearly structured in accordance with the current stage of the war and the analysis of what is happening in the Kursk region in terms of using domestic weapons;
  • pathetic coercion for Russia means that Ukraine independently chooses its role in the global political process and has the right to be a member of any alliance. The demands of some third countries must not influence the opinion of others;
  • economic incentives for Russia to make it adequately perceive reality. This includes increasing substantial investments in military production in Ukraine, as well as auditing sanctions against Russia;
  • diplomatic pressure on Russia. This step is a separate topic, as it requires working with the neutral countries, which do not realize that Russia is destroying international law, within which they can dominate and have the opportunity to form other alliances.

“This is not a proposal from Ukraine. This is a very clear understanding of what modern warfare is, what Russia is fighting for, what tools are needed, in what quantity, and how much it costs to be able to properly finalize this war. And this is not a matter of proposals. This is a matter of absolute logic of the process,” Podolyak added.

According to the official, either the partners choose to support Ukraine and end the war fairly, or humanity returns to the law of force.

Partners also need to stop talking about red lines, World War III, and other things that Russia regularly uses in its propaganda.

“We need to stop listening to Putin (Vladimir Putin, Russian President - ed.)... We need to rid ourselves of a number of myths and make a principled decision. The cost of war with Russia today is one thing. The cost of the war with Russia on different platforms, in different formats tomorrow will be in completely different figures. We need to decide for ourselves,” he said.

Ukraine's victory plan

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that this month he planned to present Ukraine's victory plan to US President Joe Biden. It will allow Kyiv to understand whether its allies are ready for Ukraine to win or whether the West only wants to contain Putin.

The plan will be available not only for the current US president but also for the two candidates.
