In occupied Sevastopol, a series of powerful explosions rang out on the night of Thursday. It is known that the strikes hit an oil depot, according to Crimean Telegram channels and OSINT sources.
It is known that after midnight, a drone threat was announced in Crimea. Initially, the channels reported missile launches from the Kacha airfield in Sevastopol, and then explosions supposedly occurred there due to incoming strikes.
Explosions were also reported in the Bakhchysarai district and an attack on the Belbek airfield. After that, at 0:47 a.m., the channels reported about Feodosia — five hits on an oil depot, followed by a massive fire.
In the footage of the attack on the oil depot in Feodosia published online, a red glow can be seen in the sky, and loud explosions can be heard in the video.
Russia is losing hundreds of millions of dollars daily due to attacks by Ukraine's Defense Forces on oil infrastructure, according to the Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, known by the call sign "Madyar."
Attacks on oil refineries, ports, and pumping stations in Russia and occupied Crimea occur almost daily. This heavily impacts Moscow's energy business and, consequently, hits the enemy's budget.
Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently reported that Russia suffered at least $ 2.3 billion in losses in its oil sector in March due to Ukrainian long-range strikes.
