Ukrainian Navy showed footage of destruction of landing craft, three Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun systems, and Orion drone base in occupied Crimea. The corresponding video was published by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carried out a successful operation on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea," the statement says.

As a result of precise strikes, three Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems were hit, and one mobile fire group of Russian forces was eliminated.

Forces and means of Naval Forces also successfully struck the Russian high-speed landing craft of project 02510 BK-16 in Novoozerne.

In addition, the Russian military infrastructure at Kirovske airfield was hit.

There, a strike hit the storage site of Orion strike-reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, and four control stations for these drones were destroyed.

Naval Forces noted that such work is aimed at systematic destruction of logistics and combat potential of Russian troops deep in the rear.

Earlier, reports said the Ukrainian military carried out a series of devastating strikes on Crimea during the night of March 8.

Pantsir-S1 system

Pantsir-S1 is a Russian self-propelled short-range anti-aircraft system that combines missiles and rapid-fire guns to protect targets at a distance of up to 20 kilometers.

In Crimea, Russian forces use it to intercept Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repeatedly demonstrated their vulnerability.

The destruction of each system significantly weakens enemy air defense.

BK-16 boat

High-speed transport and landing boats of project 02510 BK-16 are a series of Russian high-speed boats created at the order of the Russian Navy.

They were developed on the basis of the small combat boat Combat Boat 90 by Swedish company Dockstavarvet, which is a structural part of the Saab group.

Serial production of BK-16 boats was launched by the Russians at the shipbuilding plant Rybinsk Shipyard, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern.

More details about these boats can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
