Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian combat boat, a Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system, and several enemy command posts, according to the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As part of efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on March 7 and during the night of March 8 carried out a series of strikes against enemy military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and inside Russia," the statement said.

As a result, a Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system and a BK-16 landing boat were hit near Novoozerne (Crimea). The final results and the scale of the damage are being clarified.

In addition, the Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on enemy command posts.

In particular, the following were hit:

  • an Orion drone control center near Krasnosilske (Crimea);
  • a drone control center in Dunayka (Belgorod region, Russia);
  • a drone control center near Huliaipole (Zaporizhzhia region);
  • a drone control center in Selydove (Donetsk region).

Command and observation posts of Russian forces were also hit near Nyzhnii Rohachyk (temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region), Novopetrykivka, Volnovakha, and Selydove (temporarily occupied Donetsk region).

The extent of the damage and other results are being clarified.

Strikes on Russian facilities

Recall that Ukrainian forces used ATACMS and SCALP missiles to strike a Shahed launch site near Donetsk airport. The attack caused a large fire and secondary detonations.

On the night of March 4, Ukrainian drones struck several logistics facilities and concentrations of Russian troops.

In Novorossiysk, strikes by Ukraine's Defense Forces on March 2 also confirmed damage to two warships of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.

In addition, on the night of March 2, Ukrainian drones carried out a massive strike on Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. After the attack, sources in the security services confirmed that a joint operation by the SBU and the Defense Forces hit the minesweeper Valentin Pikul.
