Explosions hit Dnipro amid Russian drone strikes

In Dnipro, a series of explosions was heard tonight, October 10, amid a Russian drone attack on Ukraine. An air raid alert has been declared in the city and region, according to Suspilne.
"Explosions are being heard in Dnipro," the Suspilne report stated.
Local Telegram channels reported that about 10 strike drones targeted the city. Power outages have also been reported.
Nighttime attack on Ukraine, October 10
Starting late on October 9, Russian forces began attacking Kyiv. The enemy launched drones toward the capital, and multiple explosions were heard.
In the Pecherskyi district, drone debris hit a multi-story residential building, causing a fire on the 6th and 7th floors of a 17-story structure. Several apartments were damaged, and residents are being evacuated.
In the Holosiivskyi district, the facades of two residential buildings and two cars were damaged. In the Podil district, fragments of a downed enemy drone were found in a courtyard.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko officially warned that due to the large-scale Russian attack, there could be disruptions in electricity and water supply across the capital.
Russian forces also shelled Zaporizhzhia. The attack caused fires and injuries among residents.
According to the Ministry of Energy, Russian troops are carrying out a massive strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure tonight. Energy workers are taking all necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences.
