Russian drones strike critical infrastructure in Cherkasy region on the night of January 25. The attack caused a fire, informs the State Emergency Service on Telegram.

According to the State Emergency Service, the attack resulted in a fire. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, which spread across an area of 200 square meters.

"There were no casualties, but there was damage to private and multi-apartment residential buildings," the statement said.

As a result of the attack, power was cut off for some consumers, including residents of Cherkasy who were left without electricity.

In the night of January 25, Russian forces launched two Kh-59/Kh-69 air-launched missiles and 61 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed two missiles and 46 drones. Additionally, 15 enemy location-imitating drones were lost.

In Kyiv region, as a result of the attack, a multi-story building in the city of Vyshneve was damaged. In another area of the region, a company caught fire.

Furthermore, local authorities reported that as a result of the Shahed drone strike, some consumers in Cherkasy were left without power.
