Ukraine has submitted all its requests and proposals on weapons to the United States as part of a major arms deal. Officials declined to say whether Tomahawk missiles were included, citing the "sensitivity of the issue," reports President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy said Washington received complete information on Ukraine's requests for different types of weapons — "with details and illustrations."

"All of this is essentially included in our $90 billion deal, but we are also ready for separate agreements on certain categories of weapons, including long-range systems. I cannot provide more details, as this is a very sensitive matter," he told reporters.

Media reports said Zelenskyy asked Donald Trump for Tomahawk missiles during a closed meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's high-level week. Ukraine has raised the issue of Tomahawk supplies several times over the past year.

The Wall Street Journal wrote that the Trump administration is considering Zelenskyy's request. Granting Tomahawks to Ukraine would be a major shift from President Joe Biden's administration, which refused to supply the missiles over concerns about "escalation."
