Details on Russia's new ballistics and Canada's NASAMS air defense system in Ukraine - Friday brief
Canada has sent Ukraine the promised NASAMS air defense system. Meanwhile, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence disclosed details about Russia's new Kedr ballistic missile.

Promised NASAMS air defense system already in Ukraine - Canada's MoD
The NASAMS air defense system, which was procured with the assistance of the Canadian government, has already been delivered to Ukraine. It was ordered back in 2023.
Canadian Minister of National Defence Bill Blair reported that the NASAMS missile defense system, for which Canada promised to pay $406 million nearly two years ago, is now "in the hands of the Ukrainians."
"I can't give you more information on that because of operational security, but we have been able to deliver at long last — and I think it's going to make a difference because it will enable them to protect communities," said the Canadian minister.
Ukraine's intelligence reveals details of new Russian ballistic missile striking Dnipro
Russia attacked Dnipro with the Kedr missile system on Thursday, November 21. This is a new ballistic weapon of Russia.
It was launched from Russia's Astrakhan region. The missiles struck Dnipro just 15 minutes after the launch.
The missile was equipped with six warheads. Each of them is equipped with six submunitions. The speed at the final section of the trajectory is over 11 Mach.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that Russia had struck the Dnipro with the Oreshnik medium-range missile system.
As Ukrainian intelligence explained, the name of the Oreshnik missile is the codename of the research behind it. But its launch system is called Kedr.

North Korean technical specialists arrive in Mariupol
North Korean technicians were spotted in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. They were dressed in Russian military uniforms.
The CNN source clarified that the North Koreans in Mariupol remain separated from the Russian units they support. Also, according to him, the DPRK specialists live separately from the Russians - with their own rooms, food, music, and movies.
Sweden to invest in Ukrainian long-range drones production
Sweden is investing in the production of long-range drones in Ukraine. The funding will be based on the Danish model.
“This is another step toward strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, demonstrating the trust our partners place in our military-industrial potential,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said.
